Ville Heikkinen is a Finnish lawyer and venture capitalist with over 15 years of hands-on experience as a legal counsel, investor, advisor, Board member and entrepreneur in the areas of venture capital financing and M&A, as well as technology management and commercialization in Europe and U.S.
While spending most of his time as a partner with the leading seed-stage VC in the Nordics, Butterfly Ventures, Ville also acts as an advisor mostly in technology, financing and corporate governance related matters.
Earlier Ville has worked as an attorney with the leading Nordic commercial law firm, Roschier, and NYC based law firm, Sullivan & Worcestrer. He has also worked as a manager in the first publicly listed law firm in the Nordics, Fondia, and as legal counsel in the Finnish listed company, Elektrobit, focusing on technology transactions and corporate governance.
Ville holds a Master of Laws (L.LM) and Master of Science in Economics degrees, with additional studies at MIT, USA.
