Paula, a founding member of Smartius, has served various SMI’s as general counsel/Chief Legal & Compliance Officer and as an external legal advisor for more than 20 years.
Paula has extensive experience in commercial contracts, IPR’s, licensing, joint ventures, technology strategies, business transfers and acquisitions, as well as other general legal advice for companies. Paula’s negotiation skills have been honed in numerous business negotiations in international arenas.
Paula has previously worked as a General Counsel and Compliance Officer in the automotive industry and the wind industry. Paula’s previous work experience also includes working in prominent law firms such as Castrén & Snellman and Fondia. Paula was also the CEO of Smartius for the two years following its founding.
In addition to her law degree and “varatuomari” title (trained in the bench in English), Paula has completed training as workplace mediator.
